Results of Precinct Conventions
LIVINGTON, March 9, 2008 – In Polk County approximately 878 Democrats attended their Precinct Conventions after the polls closed on Tuesday night.
Two out of twenty precincts are not as yet reporting their results. Precinct 3 is expected to be challenged and Precinct 9 has to turn in the results.
One of the purposes of the Precinct Conventions was to elect delegates to the County Convention that will be held on March 29, 2008 at 10:00 AM.
As it stands now their are 111 delegates committed to Hillary Clinton and 71 delegates committed to Barack Obama.
